This policy explains what information Luminal Wealth Lift (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you use luminalwealthlift.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We are the data controller for the information described here.
Who we are
Luminal Wealth Lift is an educational publisher based in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at luminallift@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you ask us to email your Wealth Score report, we collect your email address and the results associated with it (such as your money profile, score and suggested next steps). If you contact us by email, we keep that correspondence.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information such as your device and browser type, approximate location and the pages you view, using cookies and similar technologies (see below).
- Purchase information. If you buy one of our guides, the purchase is handled by our payment provider (Gumroad). We receive confirmation of your order and your email, but we never see or store your card or banking details.
Taking the quiz itself requires no account, no email and no bank details, your on-screen result is shown without collecting anything that identifies you.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how our adverts perform. In particular, we use Google Ads conversion tracking (Google’s tag), which sets cookies (such as _gcl_au) to measure whether one of our ads led to a visit or a quiz sign-up. These advertising cookies are only set if you accept them using the cookie banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, and manage ad personalisation in your Google account settings.
How we use your information
- To send you your Wealth Score report and occasional educational emails, if you have asked us to (through our email provider, Kit).
- To send necessary service emails, such as delivering a guide you requested (through our email-sending provider, Resend).
- To measure and improve the performance of our advertising (through Google Ads conversion tracking). If we use Google’s enhanced conversions feature, a hashed version of your email (converted into a secure, irreversible code) may be shared with Google so conversions can be measured accurately.
- To respond to your questions and to keep the site secure and working properly.
Our legal bases (UK GDPR)
- Consent, for sending you marketing or educational emails and for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests, for measuring the performance of our advertising and keeping the site secure, balanced against your rights.
- Contract, where we need your information to deliver something you have bought or requested.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the service providers that help us run the site, and only so they can perform their service for us:
- Kit (email list and educational emails)
- Resend (delivery of service and report emails)
- Google (Google Ads advertising measurement, using hashed data where enhanced conversions is enabled)
- Netlify (website hosting)
- Gumroad (processing purchases)
We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
International transfers
Some of the providers above are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where your information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) so that it remains protected.
How long we keep it
We keep your email and related quiz results for as long as you remain subscribed or until you ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending you emails and remove or suppress your details.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain uses, to request a copy of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Every marketing email also includes a one-click unsubscribe link. To exercise any of these rights, email luminallift@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can also complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children
This site and our content are intended for adults and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
